Acclaimed Australian songwriter Kaurna Cronin is also known as a storyteller whose folk-rock music has captivated hearts all over the world. Freshly crowned Folk Alliance Australia Artist of the Year, he is touring his new album with songs all over Europe, including Estonia. We are honored to host him at our Car exhibition venue, where in addition to his own songs, he promises to perform one more car-themed song, in accordance with the traditions of our hall.

He comes from a simple family who traveled all over Australia in a camper van. His father was a clown and his mother was a textile artist. He has released 9 studio albums, live albums and many other songs. His music combines the timelessness of folk with the raw energy of rock, creating a sound language that is fresh and unique, yet strongly rooted in the Australian folk tradition. His warm and soulful voice intertwines with delicate guitar melodies, inviting listeners to get lost in the melodies he creates.
In addition to the aforementioned title, he has been awarded several times. For example, he was nominated for “Best Solo Artist” at the Australian Folk Music Awards and has received accolades such as the prestigious “Emily Burrows Award” from APRA-AMCOS, “Best Acoustic Performance” at the Fowlers Live Music Awards, ARBA “Roots Music Album of the Year” and the “Live Music Award” at the South Australian Music Awards.
In recent years, Cronin has toured tirelessly around the world – from intimate concerts to large open-air festivals in Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and also Estonia. He has performed at many festivals such as Rudolstadt Festival (Germany), Woodford Folk Festival (Australia), Port Fairy Folk Festival (Australia), Viru Folk (Estonia), National Folk Festival (Australia), Valkhof Festival (Netherlands), Noorderzone Festival (Netherlands) and Falken Dagar Festival (Sweden). He has also shared the stage with well-known artists such as Colin Hay (Men at Work), Roscoe James-Irwin (Cat Empire), Keith Urban and Michael Franti.
And now he is coming to LaitseRallyPark’s unic car expo venue! As already mentioned, expo venue events have their own traditions. One has already been mentioned – the performers sing a song about cars. The second is that the performers can choose their favorite car to arrive on stage with. Let’s see together if and which car Cronin chooses 😉
